The following are Auto Computer Specialist’s (ACS) General Policies, Terms, and Conditions applicable to all ACS services. For more detailed service-specific information, please refer to our other dedicated policies. Thank you for your attention. 📚
The following document outlines the complete Terms, Conditions, and Policies that govern all services performed by Auto Computer Specialist (ACS), including but not limited to ECU Repairs, Programming, Testing, Remanufacturing, and Data Transfers. Our goal is to maintain transparency, ensure mutual protection, and set clear expectations for all service engagements.
Due to the labor-intensive and technical nature of our work, ACS does not offer refunds for most services once work has commenced. Our technicians immediately allocate resources—including time, licensed software, and parts—based on your submission. Refunds are NOT available for:
ACS allows returns for full refunds under the following conditions:
If these conditions are not met, a 60% restocking fee will apply. This includes returns due to incorrect diagnosis or misuse.
Testing Purposes Clarification 🚫 ACS units may not be used for trial and error. We define “Testing Purposes” as receiving a unit, installing it without sufficient diagnostic evidence, claiming it didn’t work, and requesting a refund. Such returns are ineligible for full refund and will incur the standard restocking fee.

ACS stands behind the quality of our services with a Limited Lifetime / Unlimited Mileage Warranty for all Repair, Rebuild, and Replacement services performed on or after June 15, 2022. Warranty coverage is non-transferable.
